Amy DeLouise, Founder, #GALSNGEAR

Technologist, entrepreneur and industry leader Amy DeLouise has built a career as a brand storyteller across digital platforms and live events. Her multi-media agency DeLouise Enterprises works with leading nonprofits, corporations, associations, and government entities to amplify their messages through video and social media. She is a frequent and popular keynote speaker and workshop leader, bringing her lively style and deep experience to the stage. Amy has directed more than 400 short videos, and received dozens of the industry’s top creative awards such as the CINE Golden Eagle, NY Festivals, DC Peer Awards, and Telly Awards. A LinkedIn Learning author with more than 220,000 global learners for her 11 courses, Amy trains other storytellers as a consultant, speaker, and workshop leader. She is the author of two books with Routledge Press: Sound and Story in Nonfiction Film and Video: A Guide for Content Creators and The Producer’s Playbook: Real People on Camera. In 2016, Amy launched #GALSNGEAR, a movement to bring “Tequity” to women in media, tech and entertainment. #GALSNGEAR partners with top industry manufacturers and tech companies to amplify and support women leaders at every stage of their careers in STEAM. The community hosts monthly virtual meetups on career and tech topics, an upskilling hub, a beta-testing network, and live educational panels and networking events. She has won the Women in Film and Video Woman of Vision Award and recently received the IABM M&E Mentoring Award for her impact on the industry. Amy holds a B.A. in English from Yale University. In her spare time, she lifts heavy weights and is the co-concert master of the 75-member NIH Philharmonia.

Armelle Canet, Head of Legacy and Broadcast Academy, HBS

A professional with over 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry. Armelle started her career as a TV Project Manager for Tour de France and Dakar rally race organiser Amaury Sport Organisation. She then took on the IBC Production management at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa TM. After working on several events for UEFA and FIFA, she rejoined HBS as the head of the Legacy and Broadcast Academy department in 2022; in this role, she is overseeing all the organisation’s initiatives to train and upskill broadcast professionals, scout and mentor young talents and develop programmes to bolster diversity in the industry.

Sarah Mosely, Director Operations – Sky Sports

Filmmaker, Editor, and Production Technology Consultant

Now based in Berlin and originally from Berkeley, California, Sarah has established herself as a filmmaker, video editor and production technology consultant. She discovered her interest in video and moving image production after producing an interview series showcasing female managers from around the world called the #NextGenFemLeader campaign. Soon after, she decided to pursue film and moved to Berlin, and was lucky enough to discover the #GALSNGEAR community. Her #GALSNGEAR connections have enabled her to find professional mentoring and ultimately to identify and obtain positions in video and broadcast production. Companies she has worked with include Siemens and OBS. She also does community work with musical and theatre artists getting their start in Berlin. Her current focus is film production and uncovering the boundaries for successful integration of technology in the industry. A firm believer in investing in yourself, she is also working on her first short film. Sarah has a degree in Economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles and completed graduate studies in Business and Computer Science from University of Lausanne, in Switzerland.
