BROADCAST ACADEMY SESSIONS
#IBCDigital 2021
The new normal in the post COVID-19 environment in the sports production industry.
Building on the success of social corporate responsibility legacy activities at the IBC, the Academy will again put together unmissable and insightful sessions on the state of the industry in the post-COVID-19 era.
Three sessions will be held December 8 to cover crucial topics related to the industry within the Covid crisis. These three online sessions will spotlight themes related around remote production and inclusion related to the broadcast market and apprenticeship/internship programmes in Sports Broadcasting.
The different sessions have been planned, keeping in mind the current trends that we are witnessing and how they have accelerated due to the crisis. We will explore how innovation and creativity have been applied to cover live production and include diverse voices in the art of storytelling.
We will capture the different approaches and workflows used across the world and give you a rare macro level perspective of the sports broadcasting profession.
The second part of the academy session will highlight the lack of a training environment available for broadcast professionals and acquaint them with the art of storytelling and editorial while conducting live sports production and replay operations.
We will highlight the challenges faced by apprentices and interns in the industry and highlight success stories.
